journalistic perspective you know we like to have journalists on the show because

they are the smartest people in the world right now or at least the people you can

trust George how are you doing today?

through the arc of their careers and you've had a

story journalism career. Walk us through each of your career stops since your first job is a military

reporter to the freelance work you do now.

So, yeah, it's been a weird run. This is a nonlinear journalism path.

I started as a journalist when I was 19 years old and enlisted in the Army.

I covered infantry training in the Pacific with the 25th Infantry Division.
