But I did want to bring this up because I kind of thought this was a joke.

Look, baseball has done some things that I do agree with.

Like banning the shift, I think that should have been banned.

Pitch clock I like?

I don't because it means that games are shorter and I want longer games on days that we have day

games.

That's personal.

You don't like the work?

It's the greatest job of the world.

So pitch clock, yes.

Banning the shift, yes.

I even like the ghost runner in extra endings.

I like that.

But this rule, I don't see the reason for that.

I can see the reason for the pitch clock because the game was going slow.

I can see the reason for banning the shift because really it just looked like you were cheating,

sticking seven people on one side of the field.
