Hey there, folks.

If you listen to the show, you know that one of the things that has become kind of an obsession with me is the relationship between the church

and the state and the role of the church, I don't mean the institutional organization called

the church, I mean the church, the people of God. The role that we have and how that relates to politics and so on and so

forth, and I've written a book about it, which is coming out in September called Letter to the

American Church. And I was thrilled not long ago to see a book titled God, Caesar, and Idols, the Church and the Struggle for America's Soul.

The author is Rick Boyer.

It says in the back of the book that once One Nation Under God, America today is desperately sick,

and the church seems to have no answers. So this is, you've heard me talk about this, right? How can a nation so churched be so untouched by what we call

the gospel? Why has the glory departed, leaving a nation wracked by political hatred, drug

addiction, shattered families, on and on and on.

These are my questions. This is what we talk about a lot on this program. So I'm thrilled to have
