0:12.0	I'm well Katie, how are you? Any summertime stories in this one summer?
0:17.0	It's funny you ask how I am and it's funny you ask that you're well because I am okay but I came close to not being okay.

0:25.0	My parents have a place upstate and there is a river and I being the city hick that I am really don't go in it.
0:34.0	And I was with a friend who's one of those people who likes to take walks and go on the river.
0:40.0	And so she wanted to go on the river a little bit and we were at my friends who lives right on the river and my friend has a little like raft.
0:48.0	Plan to go down the river a little bit and then turn around.
0:53.0	But I don't know how to I mean I know how to row I know what that is, but we tried to go against the current a little bit and then we were just going to float down.
1:02.0	But we couldn't so we just started floating down and then we were like okay we've gone a bit and we were not wearing.
1:10.0	Life jackets which honestly for real was a very stupid thing but I didn't think that we'd be going very far.
1:16.0	I thought we were just going to turn around and so we were going to try to walk back which was going to be very uncomfortable because it was very rocky.
1:22.0	But it would have been doable. It would have taken a while. But my friend miss nature lepper she was wearing shoes and she lost a shoe.
1:32.0	So then we're like okay we're not going to be able to walk back.
1:36.0	Alright so now what do we do?
1:39.0	I'm like we're going to have to get help we're going to have to go in someone else's boat they're going to have to take us to land.
1:45.0	And then I feel some water coming in the boat has a hole in it because it's so rocky.
1:52.0	So we asked these people who were sitting on the shore the river shore we asked them if we can borrow one of their phones.
1:59.0	But they don't have a phone and we keep telling the story and I think they realized it was kind of a we were on plan D around then and we needed help.
2:07.0	So the guy just drove us.
