It's December 17th today is, and so I'm going to begin in earnest to read a number of Christmas poems over the next eight days, but even beyond Christmas, into the new year, and up until Epiphany.

A great resource for this is the Everyman collection of Christmas poems. I love the Everyman

collections in general. They're great Christmas gifts. They'd be perfect stocking stuffers or,

you know, just wrapped up under the tree and they're beautiful little books. And this particular

collection has many, many poems related to Christmas, from Christina

Rosetti to Tennyson, to Wendell Berry, to Emily Dickinson and Richard Wilbur and G.K. Chesterton

and Longfellow, Kipling, and to Aoudon.

This collection is a wonderful collection.

Frankly, it's a great collection for the whole year round, but it's a perfect collection

for this time of year.
