Welcome back to the Richard Sherman podcast and, uh, Mitchell, week eight was a tough one for the San Francisco 49ers.

They went up against a very stout Houston Texan's defense and I knew it would be tough.

I knew this game would be tough, especially with the injuries on the offensive line,

but they've played solid, the injuries everywhere, really.

But the thing I couldn't predict was how the San Francisco 49ers defense would play

against the Houston Texans offense. And they just

were unable to get off the field this game. It's not like they were playing horrible, but they

just kept, you know, they couldn't get a stop on third down. They allowed CJ Stroud to dink and

dunk his way, especially in the first half. I mean, 15 play drive, 16 play drive, very long drive, time-consuming drives in the first half.

Before the last drive, the final drive where they got a touchdown after the kick return.

San Francisco's offense had, I mean, all of 10 plays maybe in the game. And it's for a number of reasons.

You know, the fault is spread out throughout.
