another special episode with filmmaker Richard Link later of course if you're a

movies fan you know who this guy is he is no man is more synonymous with

independent filmmaking from slacker days to confused through the before trilogy

and all the way up to his new film which is about to come out

which I cannot recommend highly enough it's really one of the most special films I've

seen in some time it's called Boyhood in a nutshell 12 years are chronicled in the course of boyhood.

It is a film about a family and most specifically about a kid growing up.

We watch a young boy from the age of seven through 19 portrayed by a young man

named Ella Coltrane and it is just a profound really fascinating look at a coming of age story as has never been told before.

Also features great performances from Ethan Hawk and Patricia Arquette as the parents of the kid.

And I got a chance to see this for the first time
