Thank you, Lord. That was a good song they were singing there. Did you notice what mercy was

and it said it in there twice? It was two different things. First, it was everlasting and then it

endured forever. How long you think mercy is going to keep on then? Forever. You know, mercy is a quality of love, therefore

it fails not. Mercy is a quality of God's love. It actually has interpreted love in many

places in the Bible because it is the very compassion and action of God. It is his kindness, it is goodness.

We talked about mercy last week and loving mercy.

And we're going to go a little further with mercy today in a different light.

But, you know, the one thing I noticed in looking at mercy is for, you know,

Brother Moore talked about in services, oh services oh recently when he was talking about

repentance and you know so many times we'll take a word and we'll say well that just means

change your mind and you know i had done that with repentance and that that shrinks that word down

and takes a bunch of power out of it if If that's all it is is changing my mind,

then that's all the power it has, is me to change my mind. But if I repent and draw on the goodness

of God and draw on his answers and ask him for help and reach into him and seek him, then he gives, that's an

enabling that he now brings back to me. And instead of shrinking that word down to nothing,

I actually make it the power to do something more. Amen? And mercy's kind of become that way.

You ask people a lot of times what mercy is, and they say, well, we don't get what we deserve.

That's true.

But, you know, I actually looked for that in the Greek, the strongs, and that's not what it says.

It says mercy is the kindness of God.

Mercy is the goodness of God. Mercy is the goodness of God. Mercy is the compassion of God. Mercy is so much more than just not getting what you deserve. It is because the reason

you're not getting what you deserve is because of his kindness, because of his goodness, because he's compassionate.
