We're going to be talking about some fundamental musical concepts on this episode.

I think it's going to be a good time and we're going to get into

you know some of the basics that you want to understand, some of the terminology and

nomenclature that will help you get more out of each episode of Strong Sans.

If you ask me to break music down to its absolute most basic elements, those two elements would be rhythm and harmony.

I use the words rhythm and harmony all the time on this show, and while I bet that most

listeners know more or less what I mean when I use those words, I thought it would actually

be fun to really explore the two concepts because they are kind of the two things that make

all of music. It's always sort of fun to try to boil something down to its absolute fundamental elements and so that's what we're going to be doing on this bonus episode.

Before we get started, I should note one thing that is that this bonus episode is made possible by my

once we reach a certain number of backers I said I would make a bonus episode explaining terminology.

Sort of a loose concept at the time I had a whole bunch of possible ways I could have gone

episodes, I think I'm going to make it about specific musical instruments.
