My name is Oli Dugmore.

My guest today is a comedian,

who's regular appearances on Live at the Apollo and mock the week

turned him into a household name before his 30th birthday.

He began his stand-up career while still a student at the University of Manchester.

Within the year, he'd performed at the Edinburgh Fringe

and placed as a finalist in both the Laughing Boy new act competition

and comedy central's funniest student.

Since then, his stand-up has been described as verbally virtuosic

and his sets as lightning-paced, gag-dense, precision-delivered.

After his most recent stint at the Fringe last month,

he's now undertaking his second nationwide tour, Spilt Milk.
