Since the 19th century, an area between Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford, known as the rhubarb triangle, has been world-renowned for producing bright, pink, tender stems of rhubarb out of season.

Forced in dark heated sheds and picked by candlelight, the rhubarb shoots up so rapidly you can actually hear it growing.

At its peak there were over 200 growers in the area but now it's barely a dozen.

However, forced Yorkshire rhubarb is still very important to the region.

In fact, it has protected designation origin, like Champagne or Rockfall.

Right now, we're just a stone's far away from that famous rhubarb triangle in an immersive

exhibit with planting designed by Olivia Copley and sound design by artist Duncan Chapman.

Now, this is a fantastic interior exhibit, very unusual for an RHS flower show, where you're bought into a dark tent,

where you can hear the snap and crackle of the rhubarb growing amongst candlelit stems,
