Hello, everyone, and welcome to Everything Iconic with me, Danny Pellegrino. That was a clip from episode two of this season's Real House of Salt Lake City. And I feel like it was a return to form. Although last week's premiere was good, I did have some qualms with it, because of course it was overly produced, there was all that fake campsite business. And even this week, we're opening the show. and I'm thinking, there's no way in hill, no way in hill, in hill that they all slept at that campsite. I know Meredith Marks was at Utah Four Seasons. Mary Cosby probably went home for the night. Like, they did not sleep there. They just picked up filming in the morning time. And then they were all refreshed and ready looking, spring as a daisy, waking up in that, or pretend waking up in that RV.

And I don't like that.

I did not care for that because it's, we're getting into too wacky territory.

And then even that business, they were pretending to push that RV like they were in the home makeover show.

Remember that construction worker would yell, move that bus? Remember that show? What was an extreme home makeover? Do you remember that show? Extreme Home Makeover. God, Sunday nights on ABC back in the day. We had it so good. It was like desperate housewise brothers and sisters. They were construction worker moving that bus. And then wasn't there like something with Extreme Home Makeover where like then the people would get those big ass houses and then they couldn't afford to pay the tax in the house. And so they were all getting fucked. Anyway, that's a tale for another time. The point is they were pretending to have to push the RV out of the campsite. And maybe that part was real, but it all felt too stagey, too faky for me.
