today I am joined by a true New York City kid. She's a self-described juvenile delinquent

who evolved into a truly clever business woman. She tells her entire story from surviving

not only the suburbs of Connecticut, but psych worlds and the housewives in her memoir

Hi, that was a great intro. Thank you. Thank you. I do pride myself on like writing these

to be a bit, you know, not as boring as they could be. How are you today? I'm really

good. I'm great. How are you? I'm good. You know, I was just telling you before I finished

your book in two days, covered a cover. I'm flattered and honored and I thank you. I'm

glad you enjoyed it. Now normally, I'm an audio book listener. So I'm curious, you're

really reliving some of the most intense, sometimes harrowing moments of your life. How

was it to actually record the audio book, like reading it out loud? It's so funny that

you're asking me this, like not funny, but interesting because doing the recording of

the audio book was actually like so gutting and like emotional and like fuck me up.

Like it fucked me up where I was like, why am I telling this? I don't want to think

about this and like I had to call my mom and I talked to my therapist and my sponsor and
