Today is Thursday, January 18th.

I went to bed last night.

And somehow I was thinking, January 17th just feels so familiar and I was trying to remember why.

I'm like I know March 17th is St. Patrick's Day.

What is January 17th?

And then I realized January 17th, 30 years ago, was the Northridge earthquake. And I was here in Los Angeles during the North Ridge

earthquake because I obviously I grew up here and if any of you guys were in the Los Angeles

area and experienced that I think that's like one of those

experiences that will always stay with you. I was 12. 94. No, yeah I was 12 and a half and I lived with my you know obviously I lived with my mom and we were in like the

Miracle Mile area which is like mid-will sure not really sure if you guys are aware of what that is it's like by the Loeia Tar Pitts if you know LA and we

Like I remember it was so weird I went to a bar mitzvah that night because it was a Saturday night.

So I went to someone's bar mitzvah and then later that night my sister was sleeping out at a friend's house and I said,

hey mom can I sleep with you My stepdad was out of town.

And I never slept with my mom at 12 years old.

Never.

But for whatever reason, I asked to sleep with her.

And for another whatever reason,

she offered for me to sleep with her.

She was like, yeah, sure, come sleep.

Well, woke up at, you know, four in the morning, too.
