This is National Works Zone Awareness Week.

I'm a victim of being ran over by a semi-while flagging.

The person wasn't paying attention, and they hit me with their vehicle.

I've seen an accident where we were the first people to walk up, and that picture will never leave my mind.

I've seen the people get hit before.

It's been horrible.

Construction zones on roadways and bridges are more than just cones and equipment.

They're the workplace for thousands of dedicated union laborers. Everybody has a family that they need to get back home to, so please just pay attention to us out here while we're working. We all have family, and I know it's a pain in the ass. We're trying to make the roads better for y'all. We're doing this for everyone. We're hardworking Hoosiers, just like you, and we all want to make it home safely. People would just take a couple seconds to pay attention. Be aware where we're at, where the cone zones are at. We're all in this together, and we're all just trying to be safe. This is Brian Short, business manager for the Indiana Labor's District Council. Everyone deserves a safe place to work. We're all in this together. A message from Labor's International Union of North America and

affiliated locals. There is new science that I think will make so many people happy, and I'm very

excited about this, and it is getting help from AI. A lot of people saying that AI is really going to advance the medical field.

And fingers crossed, it does so because that would be something useful that we can use with

AI.

Cancer detection science rapidly advancing from protein-based blood tests to DNA-based liquid

biopsy tests. And they're using AI to help spot

some cancer signals in the blood. Researchers are now able to analyze tiny fragments of tumor DNA

circulating in the blood stream. This is a new blood test and it's called Mercury and it's reportedly identifying 13 different

cancers with about an 87% accuracy rate.

And that's up from all previous tests.

And the long term goal is to have a single blood test that can detect many different

types of cancer early enough for effective treatment. I'm excited about this. Coming from a guy that

drinks five diet Dr. Pepper's a day, I've been hoping that researchers have been searching for a cure

...
