Another Kennedy is testifying before the Senate Finance Committee today.

0:17.1

It's day one of RFK Jr's senatorial dance, trying to get critical votes to confirm him,

0:25.7

because as he is one of the most interesting people in President Trump's cabinet sphere,

0:33.0

he's also arguably the most controversial. And I think he's going to have a harder time than Pete

0:39.4

Hagseth, who cleared the confirmation process by the skin of his teeth. Pete obviously took in

0:45.9

a lot of fire over his personal life and some of his past issues with the ladies. But I think he handled himself very, very well. He is a redeemed

1:47.6

But he's not running for president.

1:49.1

He is looking to be appointed as the Secretary for Health and Human Services, which is a massive department.

1:57.4

And, you know, there are Democrats who are really mad at him because he endorsed Trump.

2:03.4

And there were probably a lot of independents who hate the political process, who despise both parties, who took RFK Jr. at his word.

2:12.6

And, you know, also moved their vote to Donald Trump as well. So you could argue that he won the election

2:20.1

for Trump, therefore Democrats are really mad. There are also, you know, a lot of, I guess,
