I'm Gianna Jalosi with your Fox True Crime Minute. The accused Long Island serial killer Rex

Heuerman now facing a seventh murder charge in the death of Valerie Mack.

We have mitochondrial DNA from a hair that was found on the body of Valerie Mack.

That's Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney. He says that hair DNA matched that of Heurman's wife and daughter.

Mack was 24 years old when she disappeared in 2000. Her torso was found in Manorville. In November of that year,

her head, hands, and right foot were found some 50 miles away near Gilgo Beach in 2011. From December

of 2010 to April of 2011, a search for a missing woman turned up 10 sets of human remains along the beach,

Max, among them. Many of the victims were sex workers who disappeared from 1993 to September of

2010.

Hewerman has been charged with six of those murders.

And in the murder of Sandra Costilla, who disappeared in 1993, he's pleaded not guilty.

Prosecutors have said Heuerman kept detailed notes about serial killings, body disposal, and torture pornography.
