Hey family, Pastor Torey here. I'm excited to introduce this word that I believe is right on time for you tonight.

It's called your closer than you think. And it's a powerful story, full of revelation.

It's funny and there's some practical applications to make certain that you are ready for that thing that you're close to, that you don't even know about.

Check out this word. It's going to bless you and I'll see you at the end.

You got to have a title. So my title for today is your closer than you think.

Your closer, your closer, your closer than you think. And I want us to look at Mark the sixth chapter and we're going to look at the first six verses in Mark.

And it's not an unfamiliar passage of scripture if you've been reading your Bible. It's an interesting story.

And I've got to admit that I've recently, I'm looking at this passage differently.

And I want to give you the backdrop. The backdrop, those things that preceded this chapter, what happened was Jesus prior to here was supernaturally turned up.

I mean, he is so supercharged. He is healing everybody of everything everywhere.

I mean, he's just walking by and women with issues of blood are pressing their way to him saying if I could just touch the him and his garment, I'll be whole.

So people are just touching him and they're getting healed.

He's raising people from the dead. People are coming to him saying, my daughter is dying.

And she dies and he raises her back up to life. I mean, Jesus as it relates to power and ability and ministry.

I mean, multitudes are following him. He's preaching profound wisdom.

I mean, as it relates to those things, he is at the top of his game.

I mean, and people are flocking to Jesus because they are getting from Jesus what they cannot get any place else. They are walking for miles upon miles to get to this man that they have never even seen.

They have just heard of what he has done.

And as a result of their faith and their desperation, they are moving.

They are trying to get to Jesus.

People are taking off roofs.

And being lowered into houses, trying to get to this man Jesus because this man Jesus is doing things that have never been done before.
