You're probably wondering, where is she?

But I'm in a little corner because we're doing some renovations.

And I hope you all are really excited to see the new spot.

Today we are doing something really special, which is honoring my teammate and my

friend Ali Riley. She recently announced that this is going to be her final year playing soccer,

and it's a really big deal at Angel City. She's been our captain since our inaugural season,

and she's someone who's deeply

meaningful to the city of Los Angeles and all of the Angel City fans. Allie has this magnetic

way of connecting with people. She makes you smile and when she plays soccer, I don't think

there's a person in the world that cares more. I'll never forget when we won

our very first home match, how hard she cried on the field after that game. And I think she

is able to show her emotion and be vulnerable in a way that most athletes don't. And it connects

her to the community and to all of her teammates. Obviously,

Allie's had a few hard years with injury and she is a person who loves to be around the team.
