We always want to keep you on your toes here on TRS.

So we, for the very first time, are throwing back to one of our first episodes we ever recorded.

Obviously, it has made a lot of noise that Alyssa has left us at Angel City and gone

across the pond to play for Chelsea. And we've had Alyssa on the show twice. And the first time,

it felt like she was a new player on the scene. And she had just come back from the World Cup.

And she and I did not know each other because I was out with my ACL.

She was quite nervous, I remember, and she was just a young duckling, and she's made so much progress over these years and on her journey to Chelsea.

So we're going to revisit some of the best bits of that episode. Let's do it.

But, you know, Tobin and I over the last few weeks have been reflecting on our friendship with

Alyssa, being teammates. I sat right next to her and we were locker buddies. And as everyone

knows, we had a special relationship that meant a lot to me.

And I got to really follow her and cheer her on in her progress. And so this move was exciting and

scary and a little sad for me in losing a piece of my journey at Angel City that meant a lot

to me. How did you feel when you heard the news, Tobin? Yeah, I think I felt really proud, and I think

it just shows how quickly these kids are growing up and how much experience they can have at such a young age. And it very much feels

like Alyssa's journey is still just getting started. And obviously, this is part of these younger

kids becoming professional so early is we have a player now that she played three years in the NWSL.

We saw like such a evolution from her and now, you know, it's one of the highest transfers
