check back in with you after this message. Listen, I want to get right into the

word because I believe that God has a word that is specifically designed with

you in mind. I'm gonna be speaking from 1 Samuel 9. I'm gonna start in verse 16.

It is our custom to stand for the reading of the word so if you are able we'd

ask to just acknowledge our custom. In verse 16 begins it says, now this is the

Lord talking to the prophet Samuel and he says, tomorrow about this time I will

send you a man from the land of Benjamin and you shall anoint him, commander

over my people Israel that he may save my people from the hand of the Philistines

where I have looked upon my people because their cry has come to me. So when

Samuel saw Saul, the Lord said to him, there he is, the man of whom I spoke to you.

This one shall reign over my people. Now Saul has no idea what's going on. He's

looking for his donkeys. He doesn't even know that he's about to be anointed king

of Israel. So Saul draws near to Samuel and says to him, please tell me where is

the Sears house. Samuel answered Saul and said, I am the Sear. Go up before me to

the high place for you shall eat with me today and tomorrow I will let you go

and will tell you all that is in your heart. But as for your donkeys that were

lost three days ago do not be anxious about them for they have been found.

And on whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on you and on all of your

father's house? And Saul answered and said, am I not a Benjamin of the smallest
