What's up everyone, it's JJ with another Late Round Podcast rewind.

Today shows from two years ago and it's actually one of my favorite late round podcast episodes of all time.

Because it's sort of just one giant rant.

After New York took Sequan Barkley with his second overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft,

Giants GM Dave Gettelman said to the world that positional value was a crock,

which is absolutely absurd.

So I broke down why Gettelman was wrong and why he's still wrong on a show from two years ago

and forced within the discussion, I related back to fantasy football,

because that's what we all care about the most within the context of football of course.

Today of Gettelman, the devaluation of running backs is quote, a crock.

I think a lot of that stuff is nonsense.

I think it's someone who had decided to get into the analytics of it and went through whatever.

At the end of the day, a great player is a great player.

No guys, really, that's not a quote that I pulled from my Twitter mentions.

That's a quote from an actual NFL general manager.

And that general manager selected a running back with a second overall pick in this year's draft.

Now, I needed to be known that I love Sequan Barkley, that running back who was selected second overall

by the Giants on Thursday night.

I think Barkley is the best running back prospect that we've seen in probably over a decade and a half.

And sometimes it's difficult to understand how I can say that I love Sequan Barkley

and yet I can't fathom taking him with a top pick in the NFL draft.
