There was a special confluence of events that happened when Kurt Warner really had his

last couple of great years here in Arizona.

I mean, Kurt Warner was already with the Cardinals, starting in 2005 when Denny Green was the coach.

And while they threw the ball a lot once they got both Anquam Bold and Larry Fitzgerald,

part of that was because they never ran the ball very well.

And I think it was more out of a necessity and, again, who you had at quarterback.

And that's what Kurt wanted to do was throw the ball.

You know, they dropped in Matt Liner in 2006.
