Hi listeners, Tom here from The Bowery Boys, with an encore presentation of an evening

at Sardis, an episode released 11 years ago, back in June 2011.

Now we're assuming that most of you haven't heard this episode, or if you did 11 years

ago, that you forgot most of it.

I certainly had, but it's a fun one, and it celebrates a restaurant that's really

a theatrical institution, and it opened 95 years ago in 1927.

And as theaters are filling up again in restaurants around town, or once again requiring reservations,

you can't just show up, we thought that it was the right time to give another listen

to the old Sardis show.

And stick around at the end for a couple of notes and points of clarification, there

are after all a couple of really dated references worth mentioning.
