I just want to bring this up because we're not going to it would make sense just to do this right off the top. This is literally just coming out now from the NBC affiliate in the Bay area that I'm just going to read this right from the Pete San Jose police are investigating a shooting near Monterey highway and Bailey

having you sources with direct knowledge of the investigation confirmed for NBC Bay area that the shooting reported Monday involves UFC and WWE star Kane Velasquez. People will only say one man has been taken to a hospital with non life threatening injuries and another man has been arrested. It is unclear how Velasquez is involved. The former heavyweight champion and wrestling star was born in Salinas and lives in the South Bay. So that is literally just coming out now. So we'll obviously

follow that. And I mean, that's about as unclear as it sounds that apparently someone was wounded, but Velasquez was allegedly involved in some former fashion in this.

Well, anyway, we'll follow up on that more on Tuesday, but just want to get that out of the way because it's just coming out now. But other than that, how are you?

I'm doing all right. Yeah, doing all right. The rest of the world, I'm not so so sure, you know, it's.

Yeah, sorry, just you know, you bring that up and just kind of reminds me, you know, as always, of course, that there's there's a whole.

There's a whole mess of a world that's that's out there beyond these sort of walls of a professional wrestling and combat sport.

So of course, you know, we we we send our wishes to anybody affected by, you know, current conflict over in the Ukraine and really I guess anywhere else if you're going through a shitty time.

Yeah, I completely think the same. I think that has been weighing heavily on on many people.

But, you know, you, you know, just just watching it from afar. It's it's horrifying. And I've kind of been following it very closely and it's it's very hard just to follow it.

I can I even fathom being, you know, firsthand involved in what's going on over there.

Yeah.
