Thanks so much for taking some time to talk a little bit about your work.

Can you tell us a little bit about

yourself and what you do? I'm told I'm an ecologist. I didn't train as that. I trained in

countryside management and rural resource management. There's a mouthful for me. I've been in the

game in the UK countryside over 30 plus years now. In fact, nearly 35. I've been in the game in the UK countryside over 30 plus years now.

In fact, nearly 35, I think too hard about it.

And during that time I was lucky enough to be pretty much in one place, or one area,

to see changes take place consistently as a result of my impact but also natural

impacts, another man-made impacts too.

And after 25 plus years of managing the same state, a few things took place to just

make me decide it was time to set myself up and go solo and be my own boss
