The Synod on Synodality enters its final week for 2023.

It's the final week of revolution.

This has been a revolutionary time in the church, just as I told you it would be.

There's some news.

They've, at the end of last week, announced who's going to be participating in the October 24 synod.

Technically both October 23, October 24 together are considered the ordinary synod. So it's unlike the synod of 14 and 15.

One was extraordinary. The latter one was ordinary. These are two halves of the ordinary synod,

23, 24. We're told this. This is an interesting story with interesting new rhetoric on Catholic News Agency.

One, the Synod is entering its final week and we're going to expect living magisterium changes out of the tradition of Vatican II. What does that even mean?

Vatican II is not really tradition. That's a contradiction in terms. But we're told on Catholic

news agency that the Synodon Synodality's most fertile time, like a pregnant lady or lady trying

to get pregnant, will be between the assemblies, according to

Father Timothy Radcliffe, the radical Dominican, who's been one of the key players at the

synod. He said Monday that the most fertile time of the synodon, synodality will be the months

of active waiting leading up to the

2024 Synod Assembly.

Speaking at the live streamed opening of the general congregation, which began yesterday,

that means they're drafting the synthesis document for this three and a-a-half-week process here today,

yesterday, today, and the rest of this week.

Radcliffe liken the months of waiting between the two synod assemblies to a pregnancy.

He said this, in a few days' time, we shall go home for 11 months.
