There's no excuse not to have an edge, but a little bit of help can't hurt.

And I think the Niners will be in some situations, one created by one of their new coaches, not Robert Sullivan, but Bram Boyer, which is helpful.

And another was some of these joint mini-camp practices.

Historically, if the Niners had a joint practice, you'd be hard-pressed to find a team that you might have a little more animosity for than a joint practice with the Raiders.

But that's not the case this year.

I think the Denver joint practice

has a chance to be a little spicier. First, it's early August 7th before the spring football,

before the spring football game before the preseason game against the Broncos. It'll be in Santa

Clara, so I like it because it'll be, you know, close to home. We can see it. But don't forget,

Denver's got Mike McGlinchy.

They've got Tolanoa whofunga.

And now I'm kind of hoping he'll be back for this, Dre Greenlaw.

So Denver's going to have two guys who were just on the Niners,

three guys who within the last two years have been on the Niners,

that could just kind of elevate the, you know,

the animosity.

If animosity, I don't know if it'll be animosity, but just kind of, they got something to

prove.

Like if you're McGlinchy, if you're Greenlaw, if you're Hufunga, and you get a chance to come

practice in Santa Clara, you might pop somebody in a way that you shouldn't. So I think that'll turn the temperature
