Full title is Reviving Our Republic, 95 Theses for the Future of America, a citizen's call for restoring our nation's principles.

Pretty timely book.

There's a lot going on politically right now. I guess there always

is, but you kind of wonder whether these original principles that were involved in the founding

of this country really are relevant and they're meaningful, but Mike can talk more about that.

So, Mark, Mike Beidenbaum, welcome to the show. Thank you so much, William,

for having me. I really appreciate it. Excellent. So for people who haven't heard your name,

haven't heard of this book, maybe you can talk a little bit about your background and what led up

to the publication of reviving our republic. Yeah, well, thank you. So I am from a country,

South Carolina. I grew up country, South Carolina.

I grew up in the country here.

My father was a farmer.

My mother was a teacher.

My family has been here since the original founding of the state.

My German ancestors, which is where the Biedenbar comes from, settled here in 1750. I live within right now where I live is my

grandfather's home and I live with in three miles of where my revolutionary

more ancestors cabin was so we have always been here my grandfather sold Mules Square in the little town of prosperity where we live.

But my life has taken a very journey through.

I feel like I'm the feather in the Forrest Gump movie because, you know,

I grew up here a very, and I will say a very

privilege in an upper middle class farming family that was leaders in the community,
