And the topic for this episode is revivalism. And we had talked to Ken about having this conversation

and recording this episode weeks before the Asbury revivals were a thing. And so we trust the Lord

in that. And the conversation today about revivalism, we have it from a historical perspective

and help try to delineate the two distinct traditions that exist in American Protestantism,

one that is confessional and grounded in the ordinary means of grace, another that is

revivalistic and pietistic.
