| 0:37.6 | Welcome to Country Squire Radio. Welcome to Country Squire Radio on Bo. And I'm John David. Did he? Hey, Bo. Good evening, dude. Man, good evening to you, sir. How are you doing the night? I'm doing fine. I'm just chuckling because I remembered about 20 minutes ago when you were mimicking my intro into the show. Okay. |
| 0:54.4 | How you doing, man? What's up? We'll pull the curtain back just a little bit. Yeah. So as part, you know, there's a pre-show ritual. Yeah. And the folks, even the folks on the YouTube channel don't typically get a chance to see. Yeah, typically. Which is, you know, some last minute kind of, you know, crossing the eyes and dot in the and all that kind of good stuff. |
| 1:10.8 | And then there's also me setting up the equipment and then trying to do a mic check. Now, we have different voices, as people might have noticed. And so, you know, as in an effort to make sure that your levels were coming through, I did my best John David Cole impersonation tonight. And it sounded more like our friend, the judge. |
| 1:15.7 | It was, it was the judge. That's what it was. Yeah, someone that, uh, the hunts and fishes a lot more than I do. It was, it was a good try, though. It was definitely Southern. It was just the wrong |
| 1:20.9 | kind of Southern. That's the thing. Anytime you, anytime you're, uh, mimicking, you know, |
| 1:24.6 | someone's voice, there, there is that tendency for it to come out as kind of a |
| 1:27.5 | caricature, you know, so it's going to, going to do that a little bit. And I had someone actually, you know, we're here at the shop. If you've ever been to the squire, you know, it's small pipe shop, and I'm the one that is here typically by myself all day. And when anyone comes in the door, you know, the door swings open, the bell jingles, you know, announcing that someone's here. And almost every single time, it's me going, hey, how you doing? Come on in. You know, and like someone heard me say that about five times in a row, maybe a 20 minute period, you know. And they were just like, hey, come on in. Hey, come on in. And they come on in. And they just, like, started saying it a bunch. |
| 2:02.2 | And I was like, man, this is what you all have to deal with. It's really, it's really awful. You know, I was tempted just now to actually jump into my John David. You know what, but I'm not going to do it. I'm not going to jump into my impersonation of you. Because the other fact, it's nerve-wracking when someone's here for that. |
| 2:15.8 | That's crazy. |
| 2:16.4 | No, it, yeah. |
| 2:17.3 | You don't want to do it. |
| 2:17.9 | You don't want to do it. |
| 2:18.6 | Keep the friendship alive. |
| 2:19.9 | Don't mimic your friends. The other fact, it's nerve-wracking when someone's here for that. That's crazy. No, it, yeah. You don't want to do it. |
| 2:17.9 | You don't do it. |
| 2:18.6 | Keep the friendship alive. |
| 2:19.9 | Don't mimic your friends. |
| 2:22.6 | We got a lot going on. |
