Can you tell us a little bit about your background and what exactly you do as an arborist?

Sure, Andy, yeah, thanks for having me on.

I'm excited to chat a little bit more about urban trees and see where that takes us.

So I work part-time as an urban forester, which may be kind of a weird term for some folks, but I guess in more

urban areas or dense regions, there's more and more of a need for folks to manage and

try to improve trees in our urban setting.

So I work mainly with municipalities and cities and stuff to try and

manage and help improve the urban forest. So street trees, park trees, just trying to green

up where we can. I do that part time. I also run an ecological restoration, nonprofit organization in Southeastern PA. So we

kind of work to improve natural areas, and we work with municipalities on that as well,

removing invasives, planting native species that are supposed to be there and things like that.

And I also create content online about a mix of these topics,
