We started this show years ago when we were next door neighbors and still haven't run out of things to talk and laugh about yet.

Today, we are revisiting the topic of kids and screens. We talked about this in an episode almost exactly two years ago,

so that's a great companion episode to check out, and we will link to that in the show notes.

But a lot can change in two years when it comes to kids and screens,

so we'll be diving into it all, such as how our kids are using screens now to what we've

changed our minds about, what precautions we have in place for screen use and our best

advice for managing kids and screens. For Friends of the Show, we'll each be sharing a kids

and screen recent fail and what we

learned. So let's get into this thorny topic, or at least it always feels thorny for me.

Let's start with the ages of our kids and then give a rundown of what general devices and screen

time use they get, what screen activities they have in their lives.

I think I also want to hear about each of your kids' attitudes towards screens because I'm

realizing that this varies a lot between kids. I'm seeing it in my own family when I talk to

other moms. And I think that really influences how you manage screens in your kids' lives.

Yeah. I will say overall, I don't have very

screen-obsessed children. Okay. They can, they definitely enjoy their screen time. They enjoy certain

things. They also don't always know when they've had enough. That's the biggest thing. They're also

just not constantly asking for it or constantly obsessing about,

you know, the next time they'll get their screen time. I will say overall, Vanessa is much more

likely to gravitate towards TV. And Julia loves video games, but Vanessa doesn't really get
