I'm making a living, but I've also had to spend hundreds of thousands myself.

When comedian Kathy Griffin posed for a photo holding what appeared to be the bloody head of Donald Trump,

she became a pariah

overnight. So she did the only thing she could do, turned her story into an act, and took it around the world.

We spoke to Griffin last October before she performed her act right here in Santa Monica.

That performance was taped and turned into a comedy special that just premiered at South by Southwest.

Today we revisit that conversation with Griffin, who despite the well-received festival debut,

still doesn't have a distributor for her film. But first on the news banter, Charlotte's Web.
