This is the Guardian. With a really sad news today of the death of Benjamin Zephania, the British poet, musician, and professor,

we're revisiting an episode he made with us and George the poet from 2020. A statement released earlier by his family

said that Zephyr Naya died at the age of 65 in the early hours of Thursday morning

after being diagnosed with a brain tumor eight weeks ago.

That's Benjamin Zephania. It's 1980. He's in his early 20s with a scarf hanging

around his neck in the raster colours of green, red and gold.

His dreadlocks are hanging below his shoulders and he is performing passionately. This is 1989 at an anti-apartite concert in Poland. Two years later Benjamin travelled to six continents in 22 days to perform his increasingly popular poetry. That was the same year, 1991, that another artist was born in

Northwest London who would come to be known as George the Poet. He would also start performing young.

That's hard in theory so we approach it more practical.
