My name is Ryan Snelling and welcome to my watch diary.

This is the fifth time I've recorded this intro.

It's a little nostalgic because it's used to happen to me all the time on previous podcasts.

I've been listening to a lot of old episodes that I did, whether sight and sound, film

beef, all the podcasts that I used to do.

Even some of the collider afterthoughts and the aftersmall podcasts I've been listening

to, there were so many times where I'd start and I'd intro the show with, hey, this

is the fifth time I've done this intro.

Sometimes you're just, I don't know, you have to find the mood, you have to find the tone,

you have to turn yourself on.

And I guess I haven't done that yet.

So if you watch this on the YouTube channel, whenever I introduce the trusty-trentical

brew, it's mostly full.

You witness one of my first five drinks usually on air, but it's halfway full if you're

watching this right now.

I've hit record four or five times.

Some of those takes last, I don't know, 30 seconds.

But the one that just ended, I'd probably been talking for about 10 minutes before I

looked down and saw that it wasn't recording at all.

So in a way, I've done more takes than I've recorded, I guess.

Anyway, it's a mess of a morning, but it's all good.

I'm starting later than usual.
