Today I have an interview with Samson Ma'o,

Catherine Wu, where we discussed the proposed Bitmain IPO and also

quite interestingly today, Coin Desk reported that investors had received pitch decks,

falsely suggesting the company had secured financial backing from Digital Sky Technologies Global and

GIC Private Limited.

I've included a link to that article in the show notes as there are possible legal implications

for Bitmain should this be true so that's worth having a read of I wanted to

record this episode as I have read through the prospectors and a whole bunch of

the commentary from various analysts and different articles on medium and posts

on Twitter and there were a number of things that I felt were

whether you're discussing specifically the H1 figures for 2018 which were kind of

concealing quite a significant loss for Q2, the level of Bitcoin Cash that is on the balance sheet and

how that's been accounted for, the innovation and competition, or arguably lack of innovation,

and how bit may not

potentially falling behind some of their competitors and

some of the misrepresentations to investors.
