Here on this show, we will be releasing all of the PFF grades for all of the biggest games of week one go over the stat that told the story in all of these week one games, the most impressive part of all these week one games.

Really just all encompassing week one review Dalton.

And right now, you and I are national champion picks. You picked Alabama to win it all. I picked

Clemson to win it all. They're a combined 0 and 2 to start the season. Clearly, we don't

know ball. Yeah, no, you know the mistake we really made? We picked against the great Lee Corso,

and that's probably the worst. That's probably the worst thing we could have done. Of course,

because that guy's forgotten more ball than we can remember. Absolutely. I mean, it just, I mean, look, we get to week one now. And it just shows you, again, the roller coaster that college football is. Everything you think you know on a weekly basis, even right when you think you have it, it's all out the window. And it's just, again, I know last year, I called last year the season of chaos, but it really is every year in college football. And the upsets especially that we're getting. There's very few things here that went just as expected as we thought. But that's the nature of college football right there. It's just the fact that you have no idea what you're getting week to week. And it starts right away in week one. Just unbelievable stuff. That is always the funniest part about college football and us breaking it down for what. We start our preseason breakdowns in February. Right. So we've been doing this for six months now, previewing this season. We think we know everything to know about every team going into it. And then you watch the games and you remind yourself, oh, yeah, these are 18 to 22 year olds playing football. Oh, sure. I mean, it's just, you have no idea. And it so often just comes down to maybe a slight lack of execution or just that one big mistake that turned the game around or just maybe, you know, in a couple of these games, we had one big injury that really turned the tide, right? I think you just have those little things and the little things when it comes to teaching

college teams, especially college teams with some of them with so many transfers in and things

like that. You're getting all these new players all the time. You still have to go on a field

and execute for 60 minutes. And there's some teams here that didn't do that to the expectation that we thought.

So clearly we don't know ball, but the graders at PFF do know ball.
