edition of reviewer reports, I talk with Kristen Sinott and Jonathan Ellsworth about what we've all been up to

lately and all the gear that we've been using. On my end, I recently drove out to Palisades Tahoe,

along with a dozen skis in my car, to finally experience that mountain for myself and get in some

much needed additional spring slush laps.

So we kick things off with my first impressions of Palisades,

what it was like being there while Level 1's Super Unknown event was going down right underneath the lifts, finally getting to experience the world-renowned Wildflower Bakery,

and some of the skis that stood out throughout the week.

Then Jonathan runs us through some of the touring skis, boots, and bindings he's been liking

this spring, and Kristen discusses her recent trip to the tropics, including some gear that she

somehow found useful for both that trip and skiing around Cresta Butte this winter.
