If you haven't seen the movie and you're afraid of spoilers, there's no way you'd logically seek out a podcast about the movie.

Let us begin. Joe Joe Rabbit. A delightful movie from Tycho Waititi. Yes, possibly one of the most

delightful movies of the year.

Pretty close to that and peanut butter falcon.

Which makes it deserving of a best picture, Nam, because this is a movie about Hitler youth.

And it is a, it's a whimsical movie about Nazi Germany, which is an impossible task. And it is ultimately, at least from my

perspective, an inoffensive movie. Yeah. It very much spends the entire movie borderlining

on being offensive or in bad taste. And it's the most difficult

area to tread. And it's most difficult is, is what I've basically, uh, said the entire time while

discussing this movie. It's, I think it's the most difficult movie that has been made this year.

Yes, yes, yes. And we talked to when peanut butter fal Falcon came out, we said, you can say that you love it,

but you can't say it's the best movie because it's just, it's such an easy movie to

execute, and it was executed brilliantly.

This is the other end of the spectrum.

This is as hard a task as a director and filmmakers could have.

It's about a kid. Imagine the pitch. Imagine the pitch of this movie. Right. What is the elevator

pitch of, all right, so a member of the Hitler youth who is just totally about it, but fails out of

his training, finds that his mom is hiding a Jewish girl in his attic.

And the kid's best friend is an imaginary friend who is Adolf Hitler, and he, as like a kid,

kind of falls in love with the girl in the attic and some people die.

I saw somebody, uh, somebody had compared Hitler in this movie to like a, a fairy godparent,
