I hope this podcast finds you extraordinarily well.

I'd like to apologize for the delay between the story from the first of the month to the

second story, which is now hitting your earbuds. While I was

traveling my father fell and broke his hip. After surgery was done to repair that

hip his heart went into V-Tac and his basemaker shocked him seven times.

He was transferred up to the cardiac care unit and then for some reason, I think it may be related to the stroke he had in 2008 he started

having seizures so he is now finally in a rehab facility and I'm finally starting to get back on track with things.

So again I appreciate your patience. I appreciate your thoughts. I appreciate the prayers.

I appreciate the good vibes that you've sent our way.

And there's not much else to report.

So I'm just going to jump into our second story for the month of August 2017 issue 131.

The title of the piece is called Reversion and is by Nin Harris.

Nin is an author, poet, and tenured post-colonial Gothic scholar who exists in a perpetual

state of Unheimlich.
