This week, we're looking at some stories of what

happens when the other side strikes back, or at least makes itself known. First up, some children

spot something rather creepy at an old building, but is it truly haunted or perhaps the land itself

that is wrong.

This is a real story that happened to me when I was a kid. It's a little embellished, but it happened during the Shoah era.

It's a little long with no real punchline, but it was the scariest thing that's ever happened to me, so let me get it all out here.

When I was in primary school, there were a lot of old two-story buildings, like apartments

that they called semi-European-style houses.

There was one of them near where I lived as well.

It all started when a fire broke out on the first floor of this building.

An old man who lived there alone wasn't careful enough and a fire broke out,

and he was the only one who died. His apartment alone was burnt, and the other residents

in the building were able to safely continue living there. The old man's apartment was

eventually renovated, but no new tenants ever moved in.
