realignment, all that stuff, did you think we would be talking on the eve of November 1st

about so much chaos happening in college football in terms of the rankings

who's dominating who's not it feels like this feels just a little open here yeah

and it's what I was rooting for, Michelle, because I'm sick of having business meetings.

I cover college football, not the NFL. I'm not in this to cover free agency I'm not in this to cover contract

Negotiations or you know labor disputes but the hope was because we spent the entire off-season talking about all this other stuff

that once the games actually kicked off yeah it was going to be weird to see

USC playing in the big ten or to see Texas playing in the SEC whatever at least it was football and so yes

we're a couple months into this thing we're actually talking about football chaos not just

the chaos of the business of college football.

Chaos is right. College game day going to Indiana to cover football is something that we

here in the Midwest are certainly not used to but aside from the

Hoosier story and by the way they are legit what else have we been missing well

we just been missing to me Indiana is the ultimate example of this. We have parity and we didn't exactly see that coming.

You know, the 14 playoff, everyone complained because it was always Clemson and Alabama or it was

always Georgia and Alabama or it was always

always George in Alabama or it was always Ohio State and whoever

the same handful of teams now not just because of the expanded

playoff it could expand a playoff is kind coincidental. Like it showed up just as this

parody has happened and you know my friend Chris Dorring, the great Florida wide

receiver who now works with me at SEC Network.
