Alexa Philippu, the W&B finals are now behind us, but guess what? College Hoopes is about to start.

Do you have any sense of like what it's like to get a full night sleep?

Um, not quite, because now we have so much craziness happening even after the season ended in the W.

We're team no sleep over here, but we're taking this time right now without actual games to be at or cover or watch and you know getting some quality time with my dog.

But yeah, then we're right back into the college season. We have over half the

league having dispatched their head coaches parted ways fired what have you are you shocked to see this kind of turnover after the kind of

of 2024 season that we had initially I was surprised because the amount I mean this is

unprecedented in the league it's basically we've never seen this since literally the league's first year

when obviously they were hiring from scratch.

So from that sense, it's unprecedented,

it's something we've never seen before.

But I do feel like it also speaks to how there is so much attention

and pressure on this moment to maximize what we're seeing across the board for women's basketball.

So there's a pressure to win, there's a pressure to perform.

That's maybe not every individual reason

why some of these coaches aren't in their jobs anymore,

but I think that can kind of paint the picture of what we're seeing.

I do think though the talent and the actual level of basketball

that we're seeing in the WMBA.

I mean, we can talk about the finals

and how incredible they were

and that we're going to see with the college season. And that's something that we're going to see with the college season though
