A friend of mine tells a story about a developer who went to buy a warehouse, and that warehouse

was in shambles. The walls were covered with graffiti and vandals have broken the doors and, in fact,

smashed windows and strewn trash all around. And when the owner apologized for the condition of the warehouse,

and he said, I will fix as much as I can, and I'll do this and I'll do this.

Buy, I said, no, no, no, leave it alone. I want it that way because I'm ready to demolish it.

I'm after the land. And as we come to the second last message from the book of Revelation, we're about

to see God is going to take a wrecking ball to the universe.

I mean, literally, he is about to destroy the old heaven and the old earth and replace

it with a new heaven and a new earth.

Turn with me, please, to Revelation beginning of chapter 17.

In 17 and 18, you see, the Lord is not only about to put the wrecking ball to the

gold universe, but he's also about to destroy the false religious system that dominates the world.

And then he will destroy the government of the Antichrist.

In the last message, as the angels pour out the seventh ball, there is an unprecedented earthquake.

Here, God turns his cleansing power into uprooting the false

religious system. Where did this false religious system came from? The false religious system

started in the Garden of Eden. How? When Satan told him the oldest lie in the book, that you can be like God,

that you can make God in your own image, or that you can twist the word of God in order to suit

the culture of the day, that you can literally use God to conform to your liking and to your desires and to

your whims that you will be a God. That's the false religious system. In the beginning of

chapter 17, John sees a hollet or a prostitute sitting on the Antichrist, the beast, the man of lawlessness. The Bible has many names for the
