Hey everyone, it's Mary DeMuth, and this is Pray Every Day, where I pray you through the Bible

verse by verse with joyfulness and intention, and we are working our way through the book

of Revelation. We're going to do another New Testament book after this, and then we're jumping

back to the old, so I hope you're enjoying this foray into the New Testament.

Hey, I want to pray for someone that is grieving a grandmother. So Lord Jesus, I lift up that person who's lost a

grandmother, maybe recently or maybe a long time ago, and they're still grieving. I pray that you

would be the lifter of their head. You would grieve alongside them. You would carry them through

this grief and help them to like fully immerse themselves in that grief so they don't have to keep revisiting it, Lord.

I pray you would send people who would just listen and would carry the grief with them.

I pray all this in Jesus' name. Amen.

All right, today I'm reading from Revelation chapter 6, the World English Bible.

This is what it says.

I saw that the lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder, come and see.

Then a white horse appeared, and he who sat on it had a bow.

A crown was given to him, and he came out on it had a bow. A crown was given to him and he came out

conquering and to conquer. When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying,

come. Another came out, a red horse. To him who sat on it was given power to take peace from the

earth and that they should kill one another. There was given to him a great sword.

When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, come and see,

and behold a black horse, and he who sat on it had a balance in his hand. I heard a voice in the

middle of the four living creatures saying a chonix or a phoenics, I don't know how to say that.

C-H-O-E-N-I-X, a chinix of wheat for a denarius, and three chenix of barley for a denarius.
