Summary

If you visited the church of Sardis in the first century, you could only get in the city by one entrance. The city itself was on the top of a mountain, secure unless the guards fell asleep. 0:20.9	In this study, our teacher, Dr. J. Vernon McGee, continues our fascinating study in the book of Revelation, starting at chapter 3, verse 3.

0:44.8	But I got this report recently from our team in Kenya, and I just want to share this with all of us.
0:52.8	The background is that a few, about a year ago, six to 12
0:56.8	months ago, we went into the Turkana language in Kenya, and we have just been overwhelmed by
1:02.9	the response. And Steve, we talked about this earlier this month. In Africa, it's defying all the
1:07.9	norms of broadcasting. Yeah. You used to say we got to wait six to 12 months before we even expect to hear response, and it's happening almost immediately now.
1:16.8	Yeah, yeah.
1:17.3	It is such an encouragement the way the Lord's moving, and this testimony is just more evidence of it.
1:22.1	So this was a station manager who went to visit a pastor's fellowship in this part of Kenya where the language of
1:29.0	Turkana is spoken and she says this in a report these men and women weren't just listeners of
1:35.0	through the Bible in Turkana they had become its ambassadors messengers carrying God's word
1:41.2	not into their churches only but into into homes, villages, and forgotten
1:44.9	corners of Turkana. And Steve, this is like hitting the center of the bull's eye and split in the
1:49.9	arrow when God does this. Yeah, absolutely. And I love this testimony. This warms my heart because
1:55.1	anytime the ministry through the Bible has an impact in starting a church, that's like, that's a home run.
