Welcome to Through the Bible, where our teacher, Dr. J. Vernon McGee,

tells us about a church that has remarkably been called all of these things.

I'm Steve Schwetz, welcoming you aboard the Bible bus.

And while you find your seat, Greg and I have

just a few minutes to talk about one of through the Bible's core values. Which is the value of

studying the entire Word of God. Yeah, I think it's appropriate that we talk about that as we head

to Revelation, and we're in it. And the last book of the Bible, and guess what we're doing next?

We're going right back for the 12th time in the United States. Into the book of Genesis. I know. That's amazing. I was telling a friend of mine, he said, you're kidding. That means that by the end of that, that will be 60 years that through the Bible have been broadcasting the five-year cycle. Yeah, and not just surviving, but thriving. Well, exactly. I always love to say we go to NRB sometimes you join us there.

Yeah. You know, we, after eight times, we were good. Yeah. In fact, what they say is through the Bible is the anchor of our programming lineup. And that is really saying something,

because there's a lot of great Bible teachers out there. Yeah, there are. And yet through the Bible is one of

those that just kind of transcends time. Yeah. And people always ask you and me, what's the secret?

And we say, well, it's God's whole word for God's whole world. That's pretty good formula if you're going to

be formulated.

But yeah, in Revelation, Dr. McGee really does tie everything together, like the famous statement I love, he says, it's like Revelation is like a great union station where the great

trunk lines of prophecy have come in from other portions of scripture. Yeah, it really is

true when he paints those kind of pictures for us.

And I love the testimonies that we get in all books of the Bible, but particular the ones that we have for today.
