Nearly three and a half years ago, Russia launched a full-scale invasion on its neighboring country, Ukraine.

It's only one way to serve our country from Russian occupation.

Since that day, the 24th of February 2022,

the United Nations estimates that nearly 7 million people have left Ukraine.

Most have chosen to stay in Europe,

but others have gone further afield into places like the US and Canada. When you say goodbye to your family and you don't know, you see your family or no.

Initially, it was mainly women and children who fled, with the vast majority crossing the

border into Poland, uncertain of their future and unsure when, or even if they would ever return home.

I'm Daniel Rosni, and on today's Business Daily, I'm going to be looking at the Ukrainians

who didn't just resettle, but rebuilt their lives. Setting up businesses in their new countries,

I'll find out what sectors have boomed

and the challenges that have arisen for others.

As the war continues,

I'm going to be asking if those displaced

will choose to go back

if Putin agrees to end the conflict.
