Summary

If there is one truth, it is this: we are nature. Today’s episode begins with a meditation to remind you of that. You will physically connect with the ground below you and energetically imagine your roots going deep into the earth. Rachel then continues to discuss the craving she has had lately to fully immerse herself in nature: to grow her own food, to drink water from a natural spring, to spark her own fires. We tend to look at nature as a remedy to our lives, but we might be seeing things from the wrong direction.  Nature may be calling us home. If you are longing for a different life, today’s episode will plant the seed on how to embrace who you really are on a cellular level. What you are longing for may be right outside your front door. easier and it's closer to me when I'm sitting down here at the tea table versus sitting

at my desk in front of my computer or wherever I normally record.

So I'm here, I don't know, fifth bowl of tea, something like that and I'm feeling, I'm

Chances are that you are as well.

So how about we close our eyes for a moment and we drop in to the body.

1:19.9

Now as I'm sitting here at my tea table, I'm on the floor, I have a folded up blanket,

1:25.9

propped up beneath my sit bones.

1:28.5

So I have a little bit of elevation there.

1:31.6

I like to, whenever I sit and I sit for a long time, just find a space where my hips are

1:38.0

elevated enough so that my knees are not lifting off the floor.

1:42.2

So my knees are able to drop and relax toward the earth and so that the knees don't elevate

1:51.6

any higher than the creases of the hips.

So if you're sitting down on the floor right now or anytime you come to a meditation practice
